| Exploratorium in Second Life The Exploratorium began experimenting with using Second Life for public programs and exhibits for informal science education in January 2006. This site documents the live webcasts and events in SL and introduces the Exploratorium’s presence in this growing virtual world. Exploratorium Island invites avatars to experience a growing exhibit collection, watch special event webcasts and video replays. ‘Sploland and the ‘Splo are museum spaces in SL inspired by the Exploratorium and filled with many whimsical interactive exhibits. |
